We are proud to introduce our all-new twin turbo system for 2005, and up Hemi equipped cars! When we set out to produce this kit, our main goals were to optimize quality and ground clearance. Additionally, we wanted to produce a kit with air to water intercooling that did not sacrifice hood clearance and allowed optimal airflow through the radiator as well. To do so, we opted to route the charge piping through and around the suspension to prevent any charge pipe damage which is common on these applications with any turbo kit due to the space constraints. Additionally, we opted for two separate air to water intercoolers (one on each bank) located on the charge pipes prior to the merge.
For maximum ground clearance, we tucked the turbos up as high as possible into the car using adjustable turbo mounts and a fabricated factory manifold with up pipes and vbands. We also integrated in-house designed and machined billet scavenge reservoirs which bolt right on the bottom of the turbo acting as the return flange and reservoir in one. This system features high quality components and materials throughout. The stainless tubing comes from Stainless Bros which features thicker walls and extruded bends to maintain the same thickness throughout the radius of the bends. The intercooler cores are from Bell Intercoolers and are each capable of flowing over 1000 hp worth of airflow (2000 hp+ total) and do it efficiently. The intercooler tanks are CNC laser cut and bent to maintain absolute precision and repeatability.
This kit can be used on Hellcat or non-Hellcat applications since we are not relying on the factory intercooler bricks in the Hellcat supercharger for intercooling. For the intake manifold, we are using the Plazmaman billet intake. For non-Hellcat applications, it requires a Hellcat heat exchanger and some additional hardware. On the intake manifold, we use Hellcat adapter plates to make the Plazmaman intake work on the Hellcat applications. On non-Hellcat applications, these adapters will act as spacers to space the intake at the right height for the merge pipe. Non-Hellcat applications will also require a Hellcat oil filter adapter as well as some adjustments to the coolant lines. For Redeye or Demons that came with a factory interchiller, we have provisions to retain the factory chiller as well!
Some other cool features of this kit include our billet IAT adapter designed to place the IAT sensor in the bottom of the intake manifold. Additionally, we provide a billet adapter for the intercooler temp sensor to place it in the intercooler line running into the intercooler reservoir (located in the stock airbox location). We also supply spacers used to mount the intercoolers in the crash bar. Some modification to the crash bar is required to fit the intercoolers to make the necessary room and tuck the charge pipes appropriately.
Whether your car is stock or heavily modified, this is a great option for stepping up to the next level of performance for your Hemi! These turbos (62/66) are efficient from 6 PSI to 22 PSI or more, which means you can bolt this kit on your stock non-Hellcat car and add 170 horsepower or “turn it up to 10” and add as much horsepower as the turbos you select will produce with proper supporting modifications!
